When we stumbled across this gem of a house in Nashville’s up and coming Glencliff neighborhood, we saw a house full of character that needed a facelift to fit the modern homeowner. And who doesn’t want a grand front porch like this sweet home?

Opening up the living, dining and kitchen space let tons of natural light into once dark and separate rooms. A grand arch was added to define the entrance to the dining room as well as mimic the front porch and a full-wall, glass tile backsplash makes a statement in the kitchen. We were also sure to keep the dreamy double fireplace between the living room and downstairs master bedroom. Sliding barn doors and fun patterned tile to the master bathroom and personality to this space.

Upstairs, the attic was transformed into a serene master oasis with painted paneling and a cozy reading nook, both which add to the character of the home. Industrial details like iron balusters on the stairway and corrugated tin sliding doors in the attic retreat are the enchanting touches that we love to add to our homes!
